Overview

A career built on the shop floor and finished in the boardroom.

Michael Richart has spent more than three decades leading business transformation, strategic growth, and value creation across privately held companies, Fortune 500 organizations, and private equity-backed businesses. As Executive Vice President and Chief Business Officer at Faith Technologies, he built the company's holding structure, led corporate strategy and M&A, established enterprise shared services across engineering, finance, IT, HR, and supply chain, and helped shape investment strategy spanning EV infrastructure, renewable energy, and emerging technologies.

Previously, as President and CEO of ESE, Inc., Michael led a complete business turnaround—restructuring the organization, rebuilding its ESOP, diversifying revenue, and positioning the company for a successful acquisition. Throughout his career, he has repeatedly guided organizations through periods of growth, transformation, succession, and transaction readiness.

What distinguishes Michael is that he brings the perspective of an operator, not just an advisor. Beginning his career on the manufacturing floor before leading strategy, operations, and executive teams, he has owned P&Ls, built organizations, led people, and made the decisions business owners face every day. That practical experience informs the strategic guidance he provides clients through Intelliworks.

Today, Michael serves as Managing Director of Intelliworks, advising business owners on strategic planning, organizational transformation, pre-exit planning, M&A, and executive leadership. He also serves as a Vistage Worldwide Chair and contributes on corporate and nonprofit boards, helping leaders navigate growth with practical, experience-driven counsel.
